Admissions

Getting Admission into The Royal School

Admission into TRS is entirely at the discretion of the School Administration, which reserves the right to accept or refuse any child without explanation. With the exception of the Preschool that admits pupils anytime during the academic year, admission into the Primary – JHS departments usually takes place from (June-Sept). A registration form is completed by parents and the entrants would be required to take and pass an entrance examination.
The School requires a Health record to accompany a child on the first admission. However, for children joining primary -JHS, the latest academic report from his/her previous school will be required. Once admitted into TRS, it is assumed that the parents have read this prospectus, and accept all the rules and regulations governing the School.

Withdrawal From TRS

Whenever it becomes necessary for a child to leave the School. It is expected that parents formally write to inform the Administration. A pupil may be temporarily withdrawn for up to one academic year and could be re-admitted provided there is a vacancy, and the period stated above is not exceeded. If a parent seeks re-admission after a period of over one academic year, they have to re-apply, and the child would have to take an admission/entrance examination

Fees

Fees are determined from time to time by the School Management Board and it is payable on or before the beginning of the term. As a private institution, TRS thrives solely on fees for the smooth running of affairs. Fees should be paid in FULL, not later than ONE MONTH after the reopening of a term. Parents/Guardians who fail to comply with the deadline directive would have their wards suspended from school until fees are settled in full. FEES COULD BE PAID BY CHEQUE OR BANKER’S DRAFT. CASH PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTABLE, BUT NOT A PREFERRED OPTION. New entrants are expected to pay the full term’s fees irrespective of the date of admission. Fees are not refundable in the event of a pupil being expelled or in any other circumstances
