About Us

Our aim is to ensure that all children who attend The Royal School, leave with a knowledge of their own self-worth and a strong foundation on which they can reach and develop their fullest God-given potential.

History of TRS

The Royal School (TRS) was established in March 2008 as an Early Childhood Care and Development Centre to cater to children between the ages of 3 months to 5 years. Living in the Frafraha/Oyafifa catchments areas, which was then a slowly developing community.
The School was birthed on two premises:- the first being a passion of the directors to provide quality preschool education and the second to satisfy an identified need in the area since there was no preschool in the area dedicated solely to children in that age bracket. The School opened for the first time on Monday, March 2008 with 2 children, under the name Royal Community School.

The first structure was a one-story building with about 5 classrooms, an office, and a washroom. In September 2011, the Primary Department commenced with about 6 children. Following an increase in development in the community, coupled with a desire to provide quality holistic education, the Directors constructed this current structure between 2013 to 2014 and re-branded the then-Royal Community
School to its current status by redefining the Mission of the School, changing its Name, Logo, and School colors and most importantly enhancing its quality. Currently, TRS has over 45 spacious and well-ventilated classrooms with a number of offices, activity rooms, a fully equipped library, an ultramodern ICT Centre, 2 exciting child-friendly and safe playing grounds, and an Assembly hall.
